Leadership Nuggets

"But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave." Jesus Christ (Matthew 20:26, 27 NLT)

Leadership Nuggets: A leader's mindset

Dear Leader,
A leader who wants to impact lives must first transform their own life.
Transformation starts with a changed mindset; the renewal of the mind. To impact lives positively requires a positive mindset. As a man thinks in his heart so is he.
A 'can do' mindset leads to a 'can do' attitude. A leader is a solution giver and a problem solver not a problem creator or problem enlarger.
The wrong mindset focuses on the problem. It does not see beyond the problem and get stuck in the problem. The right mindset immediately starts exploring possible solutions whenever there is a problem. A leader would even look for opportunities that can be harnessed from the problem.
To be the salt of the earth and the light of the world, your attitude must influence people in a positive way. An attitude that empowers, enables, encourages, enriches and project a positive energy, makes people want to do and be more.
Renewal of the mind is the deliberate use of the mind to focus on and fill it with good ideas, possibilities that can create value for the benefit of humankind. Fill your mind with what is good, pure, just, honourable, virtuous, praise worthy and of good report. The output of these would be the right attitude befitting a leader who leads God's way.
Be the light of your world today.
